A Academia de Artes e Ciências Televisivas revelou nesta terça-feira (13), em uma live com a apresentação dos atores Ron Cephas Jones e Jasmine Cephas Jones (pai e filha), os indicados à 73ª edição do Emmy, principal premiação da televisão americana.

Como lembra o site ‘‘Omelete’’, este ano, a cerimônia oficial do Emmy acontecerá dia 19 de setembro nos Estados Unidos e será transmitida simultaneamente, pela primeira vez, pela rede CBS e pela plataforma de streaming Paramount+. Cedric the Entertainer será o mestre de cerimônia. Em nosso país, tradicionalmente, a exibição da cerimônia será da TNT.

O portal ‘‘G1’’ destacou alguns detalhes interessantes, entre eles: ‘‘The Crown’’, da Netflix, e ‘‘The Mandalorian’’, da Disney+, lideram a lista de indicações, com 24 indicações cada um. Em seguida, ‘‘Wandavision’’, também da Disney+, figura entre os mais indicados 23 indicações.  Em números, de acordo com informações da ATAS (Academia de Artes e Ciências Televisivas), A HBO, com ajuda da plataforma HBO Max, lidera as indicações, com 130 citações no total. Logo atrás vem a Netflix, com 129. Em terceiro lugar veio a Disney+, apenas há dois anos em atividade, com 71 indicações. Este ano, historicamente, Mj Rodriguez, de ‘‘Pose’’, foi a primeira mulher trans a ser indicada na categoria principal de atuação.
